Since 2004, Chris Potter’s Alto & Bass Flute Retreats have drawn flutists from all over the US. All ability levels are welcome. The Retreats generally consist of four pieces the whole group plays, a chamber piece (one on a part) to prepare and, two workshops covering relevant topics. Other upcoming Retreats include Minneapolis, Minnesota May 14-17 2026, Terre Haute, Indiana October 1-4 2026. Other possible locations include Los Angeles, California in February 2027 and Gettysburg, Pennsylvania Apr. 29-May 2 2027.
