Upcoming Events

Chris will be at the 2016 NFA Convention in San Diego. She will be conducting a low flutes reading session at this years NFA convention on Friday the 12th Open to all. Chris will also be conducting the World Premier of Katherine Hoover’s new work “Low Down” for low flutes ensemble.  And she will be performing the piece “Two for Two” also by Katherine Hoover on Alto.

Summer of 2017 Chris will be hosting two Alto and Bass Flute Retreats. In Asheville, NC and Boulder, CO. See the Retreats page for full details.

Chris will be Performing in Ashland, OR in November 2016.

 

Biography

Dr. Christine Potter is an internationally recognized alto and bass flute virtuoso and has performed at many conventions of the National Flute Association (NFA) as well as British Flute Society conventions. She has commissioned, premiered, and arranged many works for alto and bass flute and is chair of the NFA Low Flutes Committee. She is also currently President of the Colorado Flute Association.
